Born in 1966, Juan Garcia-Bellido is a Theoretical Physicist and Cosmologist who obtained his Ph.D. from the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, had postdoctoral positions at Stanford University (USA), TH-Division CERN (Switzerland) and Imperial College London (UK). Since 1999 he is Professor at the Institute of Theoretical Physics in Madrid. He is married to a particle physicist and has two children, a girl and a boy. His scientific research interests are the Early Universe, Dark Energy, Black Holes and Quantum Gravity. |
