Dr. Konstantia Koutouki is Lead Counsel for Natural Resources with the CISDL and a professor of law at the University of Montreal, Faculty of Law.
She teaches in the LL.M in Common Law program as well as graduate courses in international law.
She is the Scientific Director of the CERIUM International and European Environmental Law program.
She has also conducted fieldwork research with
the Institut national de la recherche scientifique-Urbanisation,
Culture et Société (INRS-Université du Québec).
She has extensive experience working on issues
concerning international sustainable development law especially as it
relates to the social, economic and cultural development of Indigenous
and traditional communities, as well as the preservation of natural
spaces and traditional knowledge.Â
