I completed my PhD in Physics from Nice Sophia-Antipolis University in 1995. I have worked on instrumentation for astronomy, i.e. on astronomical mirror deformations applied to passive, active and adaptive optics. I came at Observatoire de Haute-Provence to work on a high-angular-resolution project called the Optical Very Large Array (OVLA) and also for a VLT multi-object spectrograph. I now work in the extrasolar planet domain, developing models to probe planet detectivity and possibility of characterisation. I'm also involved in exobiology research, working on biosignatures and alternative optical SETI ideas. My collaborations include colleagues from Paris-Meudon Observatory, CEA, Paris-7 University, ENS Lyon, etc.You will find more (publications list etc.) on my homepage |
