Dr. Wenyuan Wang is currently a research associate at The Jack H. Skirball Center for Chemical biology & proteomics at The Salk Instutites for Biological studies.La Jolla, USA.Dr.Wang got his B.A. in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ph.D. from Chinese Acacemy of Science in neuroscience. His main research interests are developmental neurobioloy and protein engineering. He study the basic mechanism of brain development aiming to treat neurological injuries and disease. He also interested in developing new tools for his studies as well, including engineering ion channels and fluorescence proteins to control, monitor and image the activity of single neruon. |
