Readability, length of the article, references?
Any scientist or science writer can submit an article to the site. The article must:
- give an accurate, balanced and non-technical explanation of a scientific development in one's discipline,
- be comprehensible by any non-expert,
- be, if possible, as long as 500 to 1000 words for a simple story, up to 4,000 words for a featured article,
- include images,
- include all necessary references.
The article can be either a news report or an opinion on a developing story. It must be accessible to any non-expert: technical debates shall not take place here.
