In February, John Bohannon ("The Gonzo Scientist") reported on the results of the first Dance Your Ph.D. contest. The video below is from Ruth Gruetzbauch. She is dancing "The eventful life of galaxies in low density environments". You can see more of the winning dances in the dance gallery at Science.1
If you're a Ph.D. student (or a post-doc or even a professor) and this inspires you, here's your chance. Gonzo Scientist is sponsoring another competition. Entries are due by 11:00pm EST, 16 November 2008.2
